It’s funny that when something is not in your face all the time, how easily it is forgotten about. I guess that’s the day and age we live in! A perfect example of this is the VINCENT LONGO line. Well it’s back and I tried their Pearl X Eye Shadows and I’m a tad obsessed with them. VINCENT LONGO is taking their Holiday collection global. The RSVP Wanderlust collection gets its inspiration in the jet setting women of Rio, London, New York and Rome. September is earthy and warm with greens. VINCENT LONGO new Eye Shimmer Souffle in Oasis ($24 @ nordstrom.com) from their 2007 Fall Collection illustrates this beautifully.
And since we are on the topic of greens, Teal has to be my favorite shade for the season and I have to say I’m a little obsessed with it. GIELLA Creamy Liner in Lockness ($27 @ giella.com). It’s the perfect shade of teal and the small pot goes a long way.

Someone asked me the other day what my favorite beauty product was. That was a hard one to answer so I got her to narrow it down to makeup and everything else. After thinking a while, I’d have to say eye shadows. All the colors and the formulas have really come a long way! A prime example is VINCENT LONGO’s Trio Eyeshadow in new Trastevere ($30 @ dermstore.com) from the Sex/Lux/Pax Collection of shadows. They are highly pigmented colors so use a light hand at first. There’s the caramel shimmer of Pax, taupe brown where it is embossed Sex and shimmer topaz where Lux is stamped. Each is on the intense pearl side so I would stick with the eves when wearing these. And try each with a wet brush. Stunning!
