The Organic Pharmacy Carrot Butter Cleanser

I’m a big fan of the UK’s THE ORGANIC PHARMACY brand and I was able to get my hands on their Carrot Butter Cleanser ($69/2.5oz @ barneys.com). It’s unlike your typical face cleanser in that it is super thick kinda like a hair wax that you warm up in your hands before rubbing it on. It’s great at removing all traces of makeup and the day’s dirt and grime and I found it best when using their Organic Muslin Cloth to wipe it all off. Just be sure not to apply too much of the cleanser or you will get a slight waxy residue leftover on your skin.

Let’s look at some major ingredients and anti-oxidants inside. Just wow!

It did take me a minute to get used to the non-foamingness of something like this balm but since I grew up using Ponds Cold Cream, it hasn’t been too hard.

The only one I could do without is lavender in it. I’ve just grown to dislike it quite a bit over the years and can smell it when there is even a hint of it in anything. But, this one is worth the torture as my skin feels soooo nice after using this to cleanse and I pretty much don’t feel like I need a moisturizer afterward.

The Organic Pharmacy Strikes Again

The-Organic-Pharmacy-Antioxidant-Face-Firming-Serum I was turned onto this Antioxidant Face Firming Serum from THE ORGANIC PHARMACY when I went and visited their Beverly Hills store back in November. I think most of us are conditioned to up the thickness of a face cream when temperatures drop but I think I’m changing my view on that with this one product. All I’ve been using on my face for the past month+ after washing it is this Serum and I think my skin is very thankful. And check out this ingredient list as it looks more like a refreshing cocktail I’d drink than put on my face: Rose Hip, Carrot, Grapeseed Extract, vitamin C, Grapefruit, Lemon, Sweet Orange, vitamin E, among others. If you’re tired of all the claims and magic most make, this might be one to try out as they seem to put their products where their mouth is. $160/1.1oz @ barneys.com

Cybelesays Special Report – The Organic Pharmacy

I recently had the opportunity to visit The Organic Pharmacy right in my neck of the woods and it for sure has changed my mind when it comes to the word organic. First off, can you believe that I’ve lived here in LA for about 14 years and I had never been by? The original pharmacy debuted in the UK about 25 years ago and became a one stop shop for beauty and health by dedicating itself to carrying and creating products free from carcinogens and toxins. Got a cold? Visit The Organic Pharmacy. PMS? Visit The Organic Pharmacy. The on-sight doctor can pretty much prescribe you natural and organic remedies to cure what ails you.
