Using-Suave-Professional-Rose-Oil-Infusions-Shampoo-and-Conditioner
Since everything is coming up roses right now, I wanted to share an easy hair tutorial using Suave Professional Shampoo Rose Oil Infusion & Conditioner Rose Oil Infusion.

My hair is pretty dull and flat this time of year, so I’m always looking to use products that will give it more volume and make it look healthy. The Suave Professional Shampoo Rose Oil Infusion uses real rose oil extract to make my strands soft to the touch and super shiny. I always try to use products that contain quality ingredients, so the rose oil in the Shampoo and the Conditioner is perfect to prep my hair for a wonderfully lightweight style And using the two products together are a nose-delight with the scent of roses that lasts long after I’ve turned off the shower water. Since spring is right around the corner, don’t you want to run out and pick these up for yourself?

#StyleAndSaveNaturally with Suave Green & Ralphs

Disclosure: Post sponsored by Mirum but all opinions are my own. Please see below for additional disclosure.

Hair-tutorial-using-Suave-G
I’ve stated a few times now how I’m pairing down my beauty routine on all fronts. Summer is busy enough with taking one kid to ball practice and another to swim team. I’m also taking the more natural route too by using Suave Green products I pick up at my local Ralphs. They have become my go-to as they really make me feel my best without breaking the bank. Using 100% natural ingredients, they omit nasty parabens and dyes in these products. Don’t you want to go the more natural route too when you can?

Here are the four in my corner right now:

  • Suave Green Natural Hold Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray
  • Suave Green Almond + Shea Butter Shampoo
  • Suave Green Almond + Shea Butter Conditioner
  • Suave Green Natural Refresh Dry Shampoo

Holiday Hair with #SamsClubHairCollection

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Mirum. All words are my own.

Suave-Avocado-+-Olive-Oil-Shampoo-and-Conditioner-at-Sam's-Club
We are full-on into the holiday season and I have not had a chance to get my hair trimmed! What’s a girl to do? Well, improvise, for one, and since I had a huge holiday get-together this past weekend, I think my hair style came out pretty well.

Whenever I am overdue for a cut and have an event or party to go to, this wavy side look has become my go-to style. It’s dressy and hides the fact that, well, I’m due for a cut.

For this one, I start with Suave Avocado + Olive Oil Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner that I pick up in huge 40oz bottles at my local Sam’s Club. We are in frizzy season and these hair products contain avocado and olive oil, which is known for their rich emollients, which helps keep the frizzies away. And since it’s been so hot, I love that this duo protects from frizz, even in 95% humidity!

I will be in Sam’s Club a lot this season picking up essential party supplies and I always know I can depend on their hair care aisle. They make it so easy because they carry familiar brands like TRESemme, Suave Kids, and Nexxus, to name a few. You can also see more here.

What you will need for this tutorial:

  • 1” barrel curling iron
  • Duckbill clips
  • 3 French side combs
  • Fascinator

#HolidayHairHowTos with CVS

This post is sponsored by Mirum, but opinions expressed are my own.

Dove-and-TRESemme-products-in-my-bathroom
The holidays are pretty much upon us and last minute get-togethers will be common place so I wanted to create a cool hair style for when these crop up. I love that I can get all I need to create any style at my local CVS. Their hair care aisle is bursting with all the latest hair care products from brands you know like TRESemmé®, Suave® and Dove.

I’ve been wearing my hair in a bun lately but when I make a top knot, the bun part is kind of boring so I found a way to jazz it up with braids and what I call the braided bun. It’s really easy to do!

What you will need for this tutorial:

  • Elastic band
  • Lots of bobby pins
  • Hair spray
  • Dry shampoo

The key to this style is sleek and polished. The bun itself can be a little disheveled but the rest of the hair should be smooth. I achieved a really smooth finish without being crunchy with TRESemmé TRES TWO Extra Hold Hair Spray. It gives me max control and tames those frizzies beautifully. This is a key product in this tutorial.

After putting dry hair into a high ponytail, divide the hair in half and make a braid with each side. Before making each braid, spray some dry shampoo along the hair in the ponytail. I like to use Dove Volume & Fullness Dry Shampoo to give strands some grip, which will help hold the braid longer than without.

You don’t have to elastic the ends of each braid since you will be tucking them inside the bun, but you can if you want to.

Then, wrapping one braid around the middle and then the other, pin with bobby pins as you go around. Make sure you are always holding the ends of the hair as you go around so they don’t become unraveled. Top with more TRESemmé hairspray to seal it all in, and you’re done.

Buying-Suave-Avocado-+-Olive-OIl-Shampoo-and-Conditioner-at-Sam's-Club
The months of September and October seem to set my hair into a tizzy as the weather is all over the place. One day it’s super hot and the next it’s chilly. My strands get so frizzy so I use Suave Avocado + Olive Oil Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner. This duo sends the frizz packing as it smooth strands just as well as Aveda Smooth Infusion Shampoo & Conditioner but for way less $$ and the Suave duo protects from frizz even in 95% humidity! Does it work from the 100% natural avocado and olive oil used in the formulas? Not exactly sure but I always know I can pick up the jumbo sizes at Sam’s Club and they always have a truckload of all their hair care brands in stock, likeTRESemme, Nexxus and Suave Kids. Check out the details on all the hair care products Sam’s Club carries @ samsclub.com.

As we all know, nothing kills a cool looking hair style than hair frizz, and I’ve got an easy one to share that I’ve been wearing quite a bit this season. It gives my hair light natural waves.

Beachy-waves-tutorial-still

After washing with Suave Avocado + Olive Oil Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner, simply divide the hair on half on either side of your head, twist each of the two sections individually and then twist them together. Then use a flat iron starting from about halfway down to the ends. Allow it to cool and done. So. Easy!

#ShareSuave & Save

Sponsored post by Mirum Shopper. All opinions are my own.

Suave-Honey-Infusion-Strengthening-Shampoo-and-Conditioner-2

There’s something about hitting a new year that feels so good. The month of December can bring so much chaos with it that getting back into a routine that doesn’t involve spending a lot of money can sometime be just what the doctor recommends.

So while I’m just starting to pack up the tree and decorations for the year, I’m also thinking of what I would like to accomplish or improve on in the New Year - volunteering more than once a month at the Downtown Women’s Center is on the list, as is learning to belly dance. But I think the most important improvement on my list is setting and sticking to a monthly house budget. Since this is something I contend with every day and one area I know I can do better in, starting off the year right is important. And one area I know I can improve in without sacrificing quality is when it comes to beauty products my family and I use.

Suave-Infusions-at-Walmart

Now is a great time to try the latest innovations from Suave found at Walmart stores that will nourish your hair with special ingredients like honey, avocado and vitamin infusions. Did you know that honey can help protect the hair against damage? It’s just one of the reasons I love the ingredient and Suave makes it affordable!

It’s been shown that 55% of families struggle to afford everyday essentials will sacrifice basics like shampoo to makes ends meet? That’s a pretty shocking static so for every bottle of Suave Hair Shampoo and Conditioner product you buy, one will be donated to the Feeding America program.

Suave-Share-the-Beauty

And since we all want the best for our families, Suave is inviting you, my Cybelesays readers, to help you and your communities by entering their Suave Shares Sweepstakes where you could win $2,500 and a $2,500 donation to your local Feeding America member food bank. I plan on entering on Twitter and encourage you to do the same using the hashtags #ShareSuave and #Sweepstakes.

Be sure to pick up your Suave Hair Care products @ walmart.com or Walmart stores nationwide.

5 Favorite ... Star Hair Products

5-Favorite-...-Star-Hair-Products

From L to R clockwise:

PUREOLOGY Cleansing Condition ($34/8.5oz @ walgreens.com) – just out, these  come in 3 different formulas to  suit your hair’s needs – Hydrate, Smooth Perfection and Strength Cure. These combine a shampoo + conditioner in one low-lather concoction to clean your strands and(it) maintain your salon color.

NUANCE Salma Hayek Mamey Fruit Texture Enhancing Finishing Spray ($9.99/5oz @ nuancesalmahayek.com) – like the above salt spray, this one gives hair some texture as well as keep it in place. One outlet called it a cross between a dry shampoo and a volumizer. It contains oat extracts to give softness to the texture and Mamey Fruit Extract, which is rich in vitamins and minerals.

REDKEN FPF 40 Rebel Tame ($22/8.5oz @ amazon.com) – I love me a smoothing cream and this one goes one step further. Part of the Frizz Dismiss collection, this is their answer to the humidity in the air as all 7 products contain their Humidity Resist Complex.

SUAVE Sea Mineral Infusion Sea Salt Spray ($5.99/6.8oz @ suave.com) – tis the season for sea salt textured locks! If you can’t make your own from sea water, this one does fine and won’t break the bank.

AVEDA Color Conserve Daily Color Protect ($24/3.4oz @ amazon.com) – I’ll do just about anything to preserve my burgundy red hair and this is a new one I’ve incorporated into my hair regimen. This leave-in treatment contains their patented Color Conserve Complex to triple-protect strands. Triple? Yup, that’s what the brand says. It also protects against UVA/UVB rays, which I think we underestimate when it comes to also causing color fading.
