Spring Scent Picks

As I come to the end of the Spring Scents feature, I’m wondering what the distinction is between scents that are good for spring vs. good for summer. As I ponder that thick question, below are some more recommendations.

Give the Gift of ... Scents

Hillhouse-Naturals-Soy-Candle-in-Evergreen Not one for Black Friday or need a hostess gift pronto? There’s no better way to get in the holiday mood then with seasonal fragrances. Scents conjure many memories and holiday ones bring the snuggly ones to mind. I’ve been using HILLHOUSE NATURALS Fragranced Soy Candle in Evergreen ($24/5oz @ @ hillhousenaturals.com) from the Winter Collection to set the mood all week and my house smells like a pine tree.

Or if you need to set the mood in the room instantly, THE SOAP & PAPER FACTORY Aromatic Room Spray in Roland Pine ($18/4oz @ soapandpaperfactory.com) should do the trick.

Give The Gift of Soap & Paper Factory

Soapandpapergroup

I'm quite happy to introduce you to a new line, well, actually, it's a new line from a company we have featured on Cybelesays before. SOAP & PAPER FACTORY comes from the founders of Brickhouse Soap joining forces with Dewey Howards Paper. You can see each one’s specialty in the line: Beeswax Candles ($36), Scented Drawer Papers ($28) and Scented Stationary ($48) to Body Scrubs ($44), Soap Bars ($14) and Fizzing Bath Powders ($36).

Each product is thankfully hand crafted in their factory in New York and steers clear of parabens, phthalates, and petroleum. Recycled materials are also used when it comes to packaging.
The products come in six scents: Verbena, Cinnamon Clove, Fig, Orange Blossom, Rosewood and Green Tea. There are only a few lines I would consider using as gifts and I’m adding this one to the short list. Check out their easy to navigate site @ soapandpaperfactory.com.
