Hey Hoser, Smell Bent!
Names are very important when it comes to marketing anything with some being very obvious and others, well, not so much. Have you heard of the SMELL BENT line yet? Can you guess what they are about? It’s an LA-based fragrance line that believes scents should be fun, use quality ingredients and not cost a lot. I can’t say I really understand how the line is laid out as the website is a tad confusing. Like they know what they are trying to illustrate but not really relaying it clearly to the person visiting to the site. As I learned when creating my website, KISS (keep it simple stupid)! Not that they’re stupid… I think you get my point.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand, I tried a couple of perfumes from the Leisure Cruise line and each takes its name from a location somewhere in the world and uses ingredients from that region. And the names are so clever! Chile Vanilli (vanilla bean absolute spiced with light patchouli and cinnamon bark), Tibet Ur Bottom $ (incense served up three ways with galangal and ironwood), Thai’D Down (sparkling kumquat, fresh mushroom and soothing Buddha wood spiced with crushed pink pepper, clove and a splash of rum). I think this line has something for everyone’s nose.
And what’s great is that they sell their scents in small spray vial for $3.75 so you can try a few of them out without breaking your bank. $45/55ml EDT, $6.50/4ml EDT, $20/8m perfume oil @ smellbent.com. So if you like to be the 100% unique one in the room, I would give this line a try.
