Before you know it, summer will be here. I mean, it’s just about Memorial Day weekend, which is the official kick off of the season so get that BBQ started! And I don’t know about you but I like to simplify things as soon as it starts to get hot, like I move the family from one night to two nights of not turning on the stove, laundry is done every Monday eve instead of Saturday afternoon, and the cool basement TV room opens up for the kids and their friends to hang out in.

I don’t know that last time I smelled a really French product. As in one that transports me back. It brings me back to my Aunt’s house just outside of Paris and when I used to visit as a child every year, then, quite frequently as a teen (it was my father’s answer of trying to tame me).

If there’s one thing I have learned from this beauty journey over the past 18+ years of blogging is the importance of wearing SPF. I mean, it’s the #1 way to prevent wrinkles! And I am really loyal to putting it on in the morning. My routine is: get out of bed, use the toilet, brush my teeth, wash my hands and splash cool water on my face. Then, I apply SPF! Here's a product that I've just been waiting to come out! Here's the issue - you put on your moisturizer, sunscreen and then face of makeup. About 2 hours goes by.
