Hello Schick Intition f.a.b.

Schick-Intuition-f.a.b.-razor-with-towel
I can hear it now – young girl starts work with Schick with the thought of, “I’m going to create a razor that shaves back and forth.” Years later her dream comes true, she’s promoted and everyone is happy. Yup, that day has come with the SCHICK Intuition f.a.b. Razor ($7.99 @ walgreens.com, target.com).

This razor is customized with their unique bi-directional blades where the top blades (3) shave up and the bottom blades (2) shave down. And this one seemed to do the job as it moved over the hills and valleys of my body. I reluctantly tried it in my armpit as this kind of movement is just not natural. It worked fine but was a little awkward. I’m sure as I use it more and get used to it, I’ll be able to do it quicker each time.

Now the big question is, will this catch on? Up until now we’ve all been accustomed to shaving in one direction as moving the razor back and forth would cause cuts. So can you train an old dog new tricks? Only time will tell with this one.

Is this something you want to try out?

Schick Hydro Silk Razor for Women

Schick-Hydro-Silk-razor-for-WomenLike toothbrushes I’m always interested in the latest technology in razors, and this one was 7 years in the making. The latest to fall into my hands is SCHICK’s Hydro Silk razor. What this one touts that’s new is a hydrating water-activated moisturizing serum strip around the blades and 5 curve-sensing blades with unique skin guards. Since I’ve been shaving for so long, I can do it with my eyes closed and how I know I’m hitting the right place is that I sort of feel the blades running across my skin. With this one, I don’t feel the blades at all but it gave me a super close shave, so much so, that my underarms got irritated as I applied deodorant like I usually do right after the shower.

With regard to the serum, they say it will last for about 11 shaves and the starter pack contains the razor, 2 cartridges and a shower hanger. $11.99 @ walgreens.comtarget.comamazon.com.

Back to School with DERMAdoctor, Schick and Veet

Remember the dreaded bathrooms and showers in college? Well, it’s back to school for a lot of people this week so why not get your bod ready too with any of these.

DERMAdoctor KP Duty ($44/16oz @ sephora.com) – gets rid of chicken skin. You know, Keratosis Pilaris? I get it in the fall on the backs of my upper arm and this keeps it at bay and leaves smooooth skin in its wake. It’s like a chemical peel for your body.

VEET Hair Removal Gel Cream ($4.99/5.1oz @ amazon.com) – it may read September on the calendar, but I’m still rockin’ the short shorts so get rid of hair with this no-drip gel that dissolves the hair at the root.

SCHICK Intuition Plus ($9.29/razor, $9.99/3 blades @ walgreens.com) – if the above is not your thing … we featured this one on the site when it came out a few years ago and I don’t think I’ll ever use shaving cream again! As a reminder, this one has 4 blades and the solid formula around it has shea butter, aloe and vitamin E.

Schick Says ... Shave With One, Trim With the Other

Schick-Quattro-TrimStyle This could be a TMI area for most but not for me! How do you groom your bikini area? Or rather, do you? I have had this conversation with men and women and most, thankfully, do. And to make it all one step easier, SCHICK Quattro for Women just put out TrimStyle ($10.99 @ amazon.com) and what a great price! One side is your everyday 4-blade razor and on the other side is a waterproof trimmer. And you can achieve the desired hair length by adjusting the plastic comb position. And the package even comes with the AAA battery! Now that’s value.
