Penhaligon's Tralala Gets Playful

I wonder what the percentage of importance the fragrance industry considers the overall packaging, which includes the actual bottle, when it comes to putting out a new scent? The latest from PENHALIGON’S is Tralala EDP ($200/3.4oz @ penhaligons.com and smallflower.com) is a clear demonstration of its importance and wow, I’m just stunned at the story this tells as you see the box and upon opening it. The doll inside the doll box brings back memories of childhood and the face on the doll reminds me of the clothespin dolls I used to make in art class as a child.

"Dreams Can Come True, It Can Happen To You ..."

Penuse_4I love when dreams come true. My dream in this case is that a candle I had came in a fragrance form ... and it does! How many times does that happen? PENHALIGON’S Lily & Spice Eau de Parfum ($85/3.4oz @ smallflower.com) is such a striking scent. It’s the same notes as the candle so if you can picture fresh lilies and sharp spices, you have this scent. So unique and perfect for fall.

Cheeeerio from London

Penhaligon's-Lily-&-Spice-Candle What a joy it is to open the box of a high quality candle, especially when the scent is so unique. London’s, PENHALIGON’S Lily & Spice Classic Candle ($40/4.9oz = 30 hours @ penhaligons.com) is made of a soft fine wax instead of hard wax so they are able to include more fragrance oil inside. The scent? Think lily, brown pachouli (very sparse) and spice. It’s breathtakingly refreshing. Big recommendation.

I hear that this scent also comes in a body fragrance form that I have to have! Will keep you posted.
