Is the Latest from Nicole Miller Worth the Hype?
NICOLE MILLER has created quite a rumble in the fragrance world as of late. She just put out her third fragrance simply called Nicole Miller through the ParLux Fragrances, Inc., which has also put out ones for Paris Hilton and this one, among others. And talk about a delay, the other two came out over ten years ago but I think this Eau de Parfum is quite worth it when it comes to a nighttime fragrance. It’s super ambery or woody and is categorized as a modern chypre, which is just a fancy name for a specific family of notes like below - top = citrus, middle = floral and base = animalistic base. Here is the list for this one:
- Top: cassis, orange, aldehydes
- Middle: yellow gardenia, ylang ylang, orange flower, violet leaves
- Base: black patchouli, oakmoss, white cedarwood, amber
Though very sexy, I’m not sure this will appeal to a wide audience but rather one of those types of fragrances that if you like it, you’ll love it and wear it often. And did I mention the lasting power it seems to have? Obviously I love that!
Also very appealing is the celtic-knotting or corset looking design on the bottle. It looks like a cinched waist! $65/1.7oz, $80/3.4oz only @ amazon.com.
