*NEW* Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle Balm

Have you heard of the MIRACLE SKIN TRANSFORMER line? I think every woman on this earth was born with a skeptical gene in their body and with a name like they have, mine sure perked up! But after reading more about their latest product and then trying it out, I think I could be a convert from this one product alone. The Miracle Balm, is, like the name says, a balm and like a good balm, is a major multi-tasker and can be used in different places – feet, chapped lips, reduce redness on the skin, as a soothing post-wax treatment, cuticles and even to tame fly-aways and I’m sure I’ll come up with more uses as I use it!

So why is it good for all these different places? It is packed with some pretty great ingredients: Tamanu Oil for its wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties; Manuka Honey for it ability to fight infection and keep moisture in the skin; Shea Butter for its deep moisturizing abilities; Blue Mountain Sage Oil for its ability to soothe dry and irritated skin; Japanese Licorice Root as a natural alternative to hydrocortisone; Evening Primrose Oil, which aids in producing new skin cells; and then some wonderful oils like coconut, olive, jojoba, sesame and Moringa oil.

After using this a handful of times, one question popped into my head - why is this one called a balm and not a salve? What’s the difference? It depends on who you ask. When reading the press release, it read like a salve but as I got into the ingredient list, it doesn’t seem like either. I mean both salves and balms are known for being multi-taskers like this so since I can’t quite figure out the difference between the two, I’ll just not question the category! Oh and then this could also be called an ointment…

And you should know that this one has quite a few more ingredients than the ones I listed above like glycerin, some silicones, a faux fragrance and preservatives, among others, which I don't think most balms or salves do, well, at least the ones that come in the tins. I’m personally not really an ingredient tyrant and but want to make sure you are aware so you can make your choice from here. $36/1.5oz @ ulta.com

Review: Miracle Skin Transformer Body SPF20

Miracle-Skin-Transformer-Body-SPF-20Yes, we make sure the tone on our face is even but what about our skin like the legs and arms? They too can sometimes use some color evenness. Enter MIRACLE SKIN TRANSFORMER Body SPF20 and this ain’t your average body product. Not only does it contains some major good-for-skin ingredients like jojoba oil, amino acids and Hyaluronic acids among others, but it also contains an M3 Complex to help tone and make the skin look flawless. Think of it as a foundation for your body that contains those blurring particles that diminish imperfections.

It comes in three different shades: Sheer Enhancer, Glow Enhancer and Bronze Enhancer. My legs are totally addicted to the Glow Enhancer right now and I never leave home without it on! $34/3.38oz @ ulta.com.
