Fall Fragrances that Make Me Weak in the Knees

Even though it’s December, can you believe it’s still fall? The first day of winter is December 22nd so we still have a little time to talk about fall fragrances. Here are a four I’m digging!

ELIE SAAB Le Parfum, Eau de Parfum – L’Edition Argent ($124/3oz @ – I get week in the knees when it comes to Elie Saab scents. This latest release seems built for a sexy night out on the town but maybe, and that’s a big maybe, can be worn during the day. My jury is still out on that. It highlights top notes of orange blossom, middle notes of royal and sambac jasmine absolutes and a pure “heart of patchouli.”

ELIZABETH AND JAMES Nirvana White ($100/3.4oz, $80/1.7oz, $60/1oz, $25/.34oz (all edps) @ – this one will fit all my holiday evening party needs. If you’re looking for a warm, rich scent with notes of peony, muguet and tender musk, this could be the one for you. The dry-down is really unique.

LISA HOFFMAN Tunisian Neroli Eau de Parfum Spray ($22/15ml travel size @ – a travel-sized scent is great in every nook of your life – home, purse, stored in the car. You just can’t go wrong with purchasing one! And this floral combines Ylang-Ylang, Golden Amber, Neroli Blossoms with Lemon with Buchu Leaf. I can’t get enough of this one!

L’OCCITANE Jasmin Immortelle Neroli Eau de Toilette ($62/2.5oz @ – the brand  partnered with pastry chef, yup, pastry chef, Pierre Hermé for two uniquely dynamic fragrances, and this one has become a fast favorite.

Jewelry & Fragrance Go Hand-in-Hand with Lisa Hoffman

I think one of our beauty brands is onto something in the fragrance world and it’s the LISA HOFFMAN BEAUTY line and it’s called Fragrance Jewelry. What is it? Eco-friendly beads made from pure perfume housed in a charm that you wear on a necklace, bracelet or earrings. And the scents are not run-of-the-mill – there’s Japanese Agarwood (unique woody zest), Madagascar Orchid (exotic modern floral), Tuscan Fig (sophisticated sweet essence), Tunisian Neroli (sensuous classic floral) and French Clary Sage (clean watery linen). This was a Fifi Finalist in 2012, so while the concept is not brand new, they are branching out.

Lisa-Hoffman-Beauty-pearl-closed Lisa-Hoffman-Beauty-pearl-openUp until now, the jewelry looked a little, well, bohemian, and much too for my taste but this latest collaboration she is just coming out with is much more up my alley. It’s the Swarovski ELEMENTS Pearl Collection of bracelets, which uses their 8mm Crystal Pearls (choose from Crystal Creamrose or Crystal White pearls) and if you’ve ever felt their pearls, they are weighty and feel like the real thing but without the worry. And hanging from it is a silver or gold heart pendant where the fragrance beads reside. So talk with your hands when you wear your piece so everyone around you can enjoy the fragrance too.

And I saw on their site that there are some more collaborations so make sure to check it out.
