The Easiest Lashes to Apply ... Ever!
The EYLURE brand put out a Vlogger Series of false lashes earlier this year and I just recently picked up a pair (I like to take my time, haha). Anyway, these EYLURE x Nicole Guerriero in #ONEFOURTHREE ($8.99 @ walgreens.com) are so much fun and very dramatic; for sure not your everyday lash but with just the right outfit? Vavoom!
I think with this type of big style the lash band has to be thick and from my experience, a thick band is a harder to apply. They are just harder to get them to bend to the shape of the eye. This is probably why a lot of people not only have a problem applying lashes but why they give up. So for this reason I pretty much scrutinize every pair in the packaging before purchasing to see if the band is thick because if it is, I usually forgot it altogether as it's just not worth fighting with them. “The thinner the band, the closer to God,” is my motto. Because sexy lashes are just so heavenly!
However, for some reason, I pressed on with these with the thick band and bellied up to the register with them. And I’m glad I did as the band on these is not like the typical ones (I didn’t know this at the time). It has small pre-set bends on the band, which you can see in the above photos. I looked around the Internet to see if I could find info about this cool trait but no one mentions it, not even the brand’s site! I think it’s a big deal that they should talk about but ok, if they won’t, I guess I will.
These small pre-bends truly make these workable and able to hug the lash line. So at least with this pair of glam lashes, you know you’re going to get a good application with them. I’ll let you know if I come across others that make application easier and please do the same!
