Have you heard of THE ESTEE EDIT line yet? It’s a new brand from Estee Lauder aimed at a younger demographic but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t appeal to us older peeps too! I was sent two of their items to try out. So how did they do? Click after the pic to find out!
ESTEE LAUDER Modern Muse Chic - $60/1oz, $80/1.7oz, $100/3.4oz @ esteelauder.com and neimanmarcus.com. Slightly stronger than the original Modern Muse, this eau de parfum floral woody musk has true staying power! Top notes include plum and Artemisia, middle, jasmine sambac, tuberose and lily, and base notes of cashmere wood, oud, and vanilla, among others.
ELIE SAAB Le Parfum L’Edition Or - $120/3oz @ selfridges.com. This one falls under the oriental floral and I’ve fallen under its spell! One of my favorite scents of the season with the orange blossom, jasmine absolute and cedarwood-honey rose accords. And I guess it’s so limited edition that I could only find it selling at the above location.
GIORGIO ARMANI 'Si' Eau de Parfum - $70/1oz, $90/1.7oz, $115/3.4oz @ sephora.com, ulta.com. This is one of those unique chypre scents and includes fruity notes of Sicilian bergamot, mandarin oil and Egyptian jasmine absolute. Say yes to this!
AERIN Waterlily Sun Eau de Parfum Spray - $110/1.7oz @ neimanmarcus.com, aerin.com. Sicilian Bergamot and dewy greens layered onto Waterlily, Jasmine Sambac on a base of musk. If you don’t like to smell like anyone else, you might want to give this one a whiff.

I’ve always had a soft spot for lipsticks from the ESTEE LAUDER brand. Like their mascaras, they rarely put out a dud, it seems. So how do the new Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks fare? Click after the jump to find out!
It seems like the most popular question I am asked when someone I meet finds out I blog about beauty is what my favorite mascara is. It is this one, of course, but overall, I’d have to say this next line is the most consistent with their superb quality of mascaras. Heck, they could be just putting the same formula out in different packaging for all we know!
The newest from ESTEE LAUDER is their Sumptuous Infinite Daring Length + Volume Mascara ($26 @ sephora.com, nordstrom.com) and comes out any day now. They’ve redesigned their brush in this one with their first molded brush. What does that mean exactly? It’s 12 rows of bristles includes 11 short rows that makes it able to get at the shorter lashes. The one row is called the Extended Comb and is longer than the rest and helps comb the color through the lashes and fan them out. I couldn't get a good shot of the comb in the below picture :(
The formula contains carbon black fibers that are fused onto lashes giving them more volume and really, who doesn’t need or want that with a mascara!?
I got an average of 9 hours of flake-free wear out of this mascara for the 6 times I’ve worn it and recommend this to anyone looking for a new mascara in the New Year.

What It Is: AERIN Fragrance Collection - $110/1.7oz @ saksfifthavenue.com.
Why I Like It: There is so much to like or rather LOVE about this collection of fragrances. Each one was created by Ms. Lauder’s granddaughter, Aerin, and there is a short video on their site discussing the inspiration behind each scent and narrated by Aerin herself. Choose from Gardenia Rattan (oriental floral), Amber Musk (oriental woody amber), Evening Rose (floral rose amber), Lilac Path (floral green), Ikat Jasmine (floral woody). If you know some of the notes your best friend likes, chances are you will find them in one of these 6 scents.
I swear there are no clunkers amongst these!

Now that we’ve hit a new season, do you find yourself changing up your fragrance? You should! Light summery florals just don’t really cut it this time of year. That’s why I pay attention to the ones coming out right now to see which ones include favorite notes of mine. Here are two topping my list right now.
ESTEE LAUDER 'Modern Muse' Eau de Parfum Spray ($58/1oz, $78/1.7oz, $98/3.4oz @ neimanmarcus.com) – falling into the category of lush floral woody, I would recommend this one for eves out on the town. Super feminine yet confident, this one marries exotic mandarin, honeysuckle nectar, dewy petals with jasmine sambac, china absolute, tuberose, fresh lily on a base of patchoulie Coeur, patchouli crist, amber wood, soft musk and Madagascar vanilla. That’s a lot of heavy base notes!
CHLOE See by Chloe Paint a Scent Eau de Parfum ($35/.5oz @ sephoracom) - like a rollerball, you can dab a little on in public without worrying about annoying anyone around you with the scent. The brush looks like a nail polish brush in that the bristles are quite long but I do have concern that like a rollerball, will the scent get contaminated by applying it and then putting the brush back into the scent?
So how’s the scent? Overall, I’m a fan of the brand’s fragrances and this one is no exception. Described as a floral, this one blends bergamot with apple blossom accord and jasmine with sandalwood and vanilla. This one seems to be a really easy scent to wear.

To Highlight - ESTEE LAUDER Bronze Goddess Illuminating Powder Gelée in Heatwave ($40 @ ulta.com) - highlight your cheeks, under the brows and even the décolletage with this new one from their Bronze Goddess Collection. Gorg.
My Go-To BB Cream - TARTE BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen ($34/1oz @ dermstore.com) – sunscreen (check), longevity (check), slight tint (check), nourishing ingredients (check). Available in 4 shades.
Banish Under-eye Circles - ORLANE Highlight Care Brush ($40 @ lordandtaylor.com) – I’d put this one up against this cult favorite any day! If you’re going to rock the Spring look, dark circles and rough under eyes won’t cut it. Get your glow on with this one.
Hold On Eye Shadow - SENNA COSMETICS Totally Transforming Eyeshadow Primer ($24 @ sennacosmetics.com) – there’s nothing worse than your eye shadow sliding off your lids from the heat, so this season, vow to wear an eye shadow primer every time. This one contains antioxidants and peptides and available in three shades.

It’s not often that I have to be super careful with a product. What I mean is that there is so much pigment with this ESTEE LAUDER Pure Color Blush in Poppy Passion that is could be quite easy to go overboard!
