If you are a regular reader of Cybelesays, then you know that I wasn’t blessed with strong nails. I have tried just about every product and pill out there to make them stronger, to no avail. So when I first discovered the world of polish strips and press-ons, I was kinda rocked. The reason I say kinda is that I go through phases with my nails. Like for a few weeks I will be all about them, full manicure and everything, then a few weeks of bare nails. There’s no reason.

Ok, we’re at the next step when it comes to nail art, 3D art. You’ve probably seen something like the below online or, if you’re lucky, in person. It looks so cool … on someone else and thankfully the DASHING DIVA line has made 3D a little more wearable for us regular people.

It seems like I have a reality star sighting at every beauty convention I go to and I've decided I'm going to document it every time. There were two I saw at the International Salon and Spa Expo (ISSE). First I saw Real from Real Chance of Love with his long and lovely hair. Then, I went to visit the Brazilian Heat people and standing in their booth doing someone’s hair in front of an audience was none other than Derrick J from the Real Housewives of Atlanta! How excited was I?! You can tell I was but we were there to spot the trends, not go gaga over Ms. Derrick!

So what did I see? Lots of people! I usually go to this show on the Saturday, not the Sunday, because it is just too busy but I had to work so it was my only option. Yes, there was the usual fancy updos and hair styles, body painting and wow nails.

I’ve had such a time with my nails my whole life. I have tried this and this and even this. Nothing seems to strengthen or allow them to grow, so I was super curious when I heard about DASHING DIVA salon’s new Gelife Soak-Off Nails. From what I read, this was a must try!
