Let's Talk Teeth for #WorldSmileDay

POPWHITE-Crest-and-Colgate-toothpaste
Teeth. So important to everything in life! And since today is #WorldSmileDay, I thought I’d focus on 3 products that you should be using to keep your pearly whites, well white, and healthy.

CREST 3D White Whitening Therapy ($6.99/4.1oz @ crest.com, target.com) – this is the latest whitening fluoride toothpaste from Crest that uses silica to break away stains on teeth. And I’ve always had a thing for the mint flavor of this brand’s toothpaste.

POP WHITE Whitening Primer + Toothpaste, Whitening Toner + Oral Rinse ($48 @ popwhitesmile.com) – this is actually a two-part whitener – first brush with the purple paste (think Barney the dinosaur purple!) and then rinse with the Oral Rinse (yup, also mega purple). Use morning and eve and within 14 days you should notice your teeth whitened. Purple neutralizes yellow (teeth) and they claim up to four shades! I'm rounding out the week now of week 3 and so far, so good. You’ll also save money by getting a subscription to their products too.

Radiant Toothpaste by Colgate Optic White ($7.99/3oz @ colgateopticwhite.com, target.com) – this too is a fluoride toothpaste and whitener in one. It uses hydrogen peroxide to help white teeth and its technology claims to help remove deep set stains below the tooth’s surface.

Attack the Mouth With New Technology From Scope, Crest and Oral B

Scope-Outlast-Mouthwash I love being privy to new technology and the Procter & Gamble line just added a major one to their SCOPE, CREST AND ORAL B products to fight bad breathe. It’s called Outlast and it binds tightly to select receptors in the mouth to keep the fresh sensation longer than your average mouthwash or toothpaste. The technology was co-created by one of the founders of their famous Whitestrips, and I think they are onto something with these.

And look for a big push going into this campaign as Ryan Seacrest is the spokesperson and at the launch party they showed the really cheeky commercial.

Choose from:
Scope Outlast in Long Lasting Mint and Long Lasting Peppermint ($5.99/25.4oz)
Crest Extra White Plus Scope Outlast ($3.25/4oz)
Oral-B Advantage Floss Picks Plus Scope Outlast flavor ($3.49/75 picks)

I definitely think the mouthwash was the best of the three in terms of keeping my mouth freshly presentable longer than my usual brand. Let me know if you are able to try any of the products and what you think! Pick yours up @ target.com.

Crest Puts Out the Next Wave of Teeth Whiteners

Crest-Whitestrips--Advanced-Seal I got my hands on CREST’s new Whitestrips Advanced Seal ($44.99/14 pouches with upper and lower strip inside @ amazon.com) just in time. My teeth were in dire need of a pick-me-up and can you believe that we’ve never tried Whitestrips?? Heard all the hype but just kinda didn’t fully digest it. And just like I have read about Whitestrips in general, we agree that they are some of the best teeth whiteners for the money. Each top and lower strip of the Advanced Seal adheres to your teeth so you can just stick them on and go about your business. They even say that it’s okay to drink (no booze!) with them in your mouth. They also say these are a clean removal. Well they do come off with a little bit of prying with your nails so I would recommend you brush after using these as they do leave some residue behind, which is fine. You should see results after using this 3 times for 30 minutes a day but I swear I saw results after just one use. Maybe I was dreaming but I know I’m not now as my teeth are noticably white.
