Primers are all the rage, right? Eye primer, face primer and now … fragrance primer! Yup, spray this one on before you spray on your scent and it will make it last longer than without. It’s called CANVAS & CONCRETE Fragrance Primer ($19.50/3oz @ smallflower.com) and it puts a barrier between your scent and your skin so it won’t absorb so the scent will stay true to the way the way smells right out of the bottle and last on the skin. But isn’t the way something smells on(it) you part of what is alluring about wearing one scent as opposed to another? 

So I guess there are two ways to look at this fragrance primer –

1. If you are looking for your scent to last on you.
2. If you like a scent that just doesn’t smell quite right on you and you want to wear it and keep it true.

Not sure I even own any scents that fall into the latter category but if I come across any, I will be sure to try it with this primer!

So how do you use this? Simple! Just spray this on areas you are going to apply you fragrance to – wrists, neck, back of legs, and then spritz on your scent.

So does it work? I have to say, I think it really does. I’ve worn some pretty heady scents that past two weeks during the eves and it seems to make the scent last much longer than it normally would.
