I’ve been on a powder kick lately and using it in place of my foundation in some cases. PHYSICIANS FORMULA seems to hit the mark with these next two.

What I like about this is this Loose Powder packaging, first, as it’s totally totable! When was the last time you were able to take your loose powder out with you? The powder is super fine and buildable. I tap out a little bit in the lid and then press the included handled-sponge in it before applying. Some formulas make you look too powdery and of course anyone can have that look if they overdue it. This one allows a few layers before that look seeps in, so just don’t overdue it!
I’ve used this to set my face but also just as a touch-up powder late in the afternoon. Available in 7 shades. My shade is MW2, shown here.

One thing I wish is that brands would code shades the same across the board, especially when it comes to drugstore brands. It’s hard enough trying to figure out which shade is best for you but if the shade names/numbers are the same no matter which collection, I’m sure they would sell more product! I’m sure there’s a reason why but to me, it just doesn’t make sense.

Ok, back to this products! This one too is replacing my liquid foundation as it gives nice coverage for a powder, especially when you just need a little kick in the late afternoon. Available in 12 shades. My shade is Medium Beige, shown here.
