And the Naked continues … URBAN DECAY just came out with two products under the Stay Naked moniker – ‘Stay Naked’ Weightless Liquid Foundation ($39/1oz @ urbandecay.com, sephora.com) and ‘Stay Naked’ Correcting Concealer ($29 @ urbandecay.com, sephora.com, ulta.com).

Let’s take a closer look at each one –

My Take – unlike their other foundations, this one has taken a while for me to get used to. For me, I usually have my take on a foundation after the first few times, but with this one, it’s taken a little longer because the formula is really unique. It's thinner than I'm used to and the coverage is pretty good, so I tested all aspects of it - from what to use to apply it with (brush vs. fingers vs. sponge) to if it needs a primer/moisturizer.

The first time I tried this, it seemed chalky on me, which was quite shocking and disappointing! So I thought maybe using a sponge was not the way to go and fingers were not quite right either but using a brush has been the answer. The formula is quite pigmented so a little goes a long way and I would for sure use a primer and/or moisturizer to get this one to spread evenly over the skin.

It comes in 50 shades, nine intensities, three mastertones and seven undertones, as mentioned above, so you should be able to find your match with this collection. Shades shown here are 20NN and 20WY.

My Take – I’ve been alternating between testing this one and another one and let’s just say I’ve yet to find my Holy Grail concealer. Yes, it seems to counteract dark circles nicely as well as a sun mark on the right side of my cheek, however, like every other concealer I have tried, the color seems to creep its way into my lines under my eyes within an hour. And that's a major test for any concealer. Sad face. I like that these come in five undertones, nine shade intensities and three mastertones, so you will find your shade with these if you are just looking to counteract dark circles.

So I’m filing this under a case-by-case basis in that, if you just suffer from dark circles then this is a great one to consider.
