Overall, spring is probably my favorite season of the year. If you follow my blog then you know that I am big on storing away winter clothes and then making the big switch each season with pulling out the summer clothes, which is where I’m at right now. Growing up on the east coast, this is what everybody did! Do you practice this?

So each season I need to refresh my clothes with the latest styles and I do it at Target. They have the best variety of offerings when it comes to the season’s styles and a few times a year I pick up a couple different tops and dresses to carry me through. And I just unpacked a few from storage that I picked up at Target last season that I will wear again.

 

This spring I’m all about flowers! I tend to like just above-the-knee dresses like the one shown here in dark blue with spaghetti straps. I can wear it out as is during the day and throw on a cardigan when it gets a little cooler at night.

A new staple for me is the pants suit. I’ve always had a love affair with the pants suit. It’s so 70’s cool and they always make the person wearing it look so put together and glam. The one I picked up falls off the shoulders and has big bold flowers on it.

Another great piece to have is the romper. See the one I’m trying on here? I like the fun stripes of this black & white one and it really shows off my legs when I wear it with espadrilles.

And look at these wedge espadrilles I picked up in a light peach shade! The color acts as a nude and will go with many different outfits to help continue the glam vibe I’m feel like I’m giving off wearing them.

When it comes to my beauty closet, I’ve got Unilever brands and Target helping me out. I shop weekly at Target so my spring must-haves are readily available. I stock both bathrooms each season with my family’s heavily used products and here are some of our go-tos:

• Dove Dry Shampoo – this is my favorite dry shampoo for so many reasons but mainly because of the inexpensive price and the fact that it doesn’t leave any residue on my hair. I like getting a few extra days to my hair style before having to wash it.
• The Good Stuff – My daughter discovered this line at Target and I’ve got to say, their Color Protect Milk has been protecting my hair from frizzing up so far and I also picked up their Frizz Control Oil for when it gets super-hot out this summer and my hair is really acting up.
• TRESemmé Tres Two Extra Hold Hairspray – all of us use this hairspray everyday so I usually pick up a few cans up at a time for each of us.
