First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer & Hello FAB Bendy Avocado Concealer
FIRST AID BEAUTY just added five new shades of their Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer ($28/1oz @ firstaidbeauty.com, sephora.com, ulta.com, dermstore.com). Since temps are warming up, perhaps a heavy foundation is not in your wheel-well. The formula contains a broad-spectrum SPF 30 and is whipped like a mousse. It meets all the basic requirements for a tinted moisturizer like building up to a medium coverage, so if you’re in the market, this would be a good one to consider, especially if you have sensitive skin as all their products are formulated for it.
The other product I was dying to try was the Hello FAB Bendy Avocado Concealer ($22 @ firstaidbeauty.com, sephora.com). First, the name is really unique, don’t you think? Well I have to agree that it is pretty fab and probably because it seems to be bendy. What I mean by that is that it doesn’t seem sit in the wrinkles under the eye after an hour. In order to prevent it for the long haul, I’ve been setting it with setting powder, like this BEAUTY REVOLUTION Baking Powder ($8 @ ulta.com), and that seems to keep it from creeping into any wrinkles. I can’t tell you how many concealers I’ve tried that I’ve said eh after it congregated in the fine wrinkles under my eyes.

The formula contains vitamin E as well as mushroom extract for conditioning of the skin, as well as caffeine to help lessen under eye puffiness and dark circles.
I think it had a medium to full coverage and blended in really well, even when I didn’t have any moisture on the skin under my eyes, which I usually apply.
As far as application, I used a Beauty Blender and also tried my fingers and don’t have a preferred way of applying it.
What is your go-to concealer?
