Now this is a differently textured shadow! It’s wet. It’s jiggly. It’s Jelly. It’s JILL STUART Jelly Eye Color ($20 @ jillstuartbeautyusa.com) and is part of the K-Beauty storming out shores right now.

What It Is:  A fresh, lightweight and soft gel eye shadow that glides seamlessly on to the eyelids for the perfect wash of color. These single-color shadows  create a wet/glossy look with a long-lasting shimmer. The innovative formula locks in the pearlized finish while also moisturizing and hydrating eyelids to prevent creasing.

 

These shadows are bouncy when I touch them with my finger and smooth when they touch the skin. Each has a mousy look to them, which is a nice alternative to the traditional shadows. The finish of the two I have is pearl with some glitter. Ms. Stuart included wild rose extract, as well as lavender, rosemary, avocado and almond oil. Wow, sounds like a skin care product! The scent of each is really nice and called a Crystal Floral Bouquet.

I’ve been using the 02 Nude Dazzle and 03 Brown Bijou as accents in a few eye looks though it looks nice on the lid by itself.

These shadows are those once-it-sets-it-doesn’t-move, but I did notice some of the glitter does flake off so just be sure to wear this with a primer.
