Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Liquid Concealer

Since my skin is quite dry under my eyes, I’m always on the hunt for a really good concealer that’s not going to sit in my fine lines. When I heard about CHARLOTTE TILBURY Magic Away Liquid Concealer ($32 @,,, my ears perked up! She just came out with a new complexion collection and this one comes in 16 shades. Nice!

Ms. Tilbury claims she’s been working on creating a Holy Grail concealer for years and this is her throwing her hat in the ring. Key ingredients inside hers include Persian Silk Tree Extract, which give hers a unique elastic-stretch that’s allows it to hug curves, Palmitoyl Glycine is for anti-aging and the extract of wild indigo, an under eye brightener.

The applicator sponge is also unique. It’s called the Magic Miracle Precision beauty blender (arn’t those last two words trademarked?) and was designed to rollover and hug your skin. And the formula is housed in a click-pen, which I’m not a huge fan of since sometimes I’ve clicked and clicked and the product has never come out! But on the other side, it keeps the liquid bacteria-free. Love that.

So how did this one do? Click below to find out!

I can only report my findings in using this one about 6 times now and how it covers my slight dark circles and fine lines. When it comes to that anti-ingredient, I will have to take their word for it, but is the amount applied under the eyes enough to even work?

I found that the #5 Medium shade really does brighten up under my eyes but not in an I’ve-used-too-light-of-a-concealer-under-my-eyes, which I’ve done. I’ve also dabbed this one on a few discolorations on my forehead and it blends in well and covers what I needed covered.

They do claim that it won’t sit in fine lines and at this point, I’m just not sure there will ever be one that will 100% live up to this claim. I mean, this one was one of the better ones I’ve used lately when it came to that but yup, a little did sit it a fine line I have just under my bottom lash line.

So while this review might not seem like a real glowing one, it is in the sense that I feel this does surpass the performance of my current concealer so I will be using this one from now on.
