There’s almost nothing better than a great eye liner and try as I might, good smudgy ones are hard to come by but I think this next one fits the bill beautifully.

BUXOM just came out with SexySmoky Kajal PowderLiner Eyeliner in two colors, Sultry Black and Smoldering Brown ($21 @ buxomcosmetics.com) and here’s What it is: An intensely pigmented eyeliner with wet powder, lasting wear technology. Tapered sponge tip applicator creates either a precise liner or smoky look. Formula-infused cap reloads color with every twist.

My take: I think what makes this one work is that it combines the liner with powder so while you have an intense sooty color, the edges are not precise. Another plus is that it take a minute or two to set and once it does, it stays on for hours. A nice one to create the smokey eye look. 

Hopefully these two shades are a test of colors to come!
