I’ve stated a few times now how I’m pairing down my beauty routine on all fronts. Summer is busy enough with taking one kid to ball practice and another to swim team. In keeping in theme, I wanted to show you how to create a natural looking and easy summer bun hair tutorial:

Starting with Suave Green Almond + Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner, give your strands a good cleansing and conditioning. What I like about this duo is that they are both proven to moisturize as well as the more expensive ones out there, like Aveda Dry Remedy. And the formula contains 100% natural almond & shea butter. This duo leaves my strands super shiny and for a reasonable price.

After drying my hair or letting it air dry, I spray Suave Green Natural Refresh Dry Shampoo on my roots and strands where the bun is going to be to give them some extra grip for this hair style. This dry shampoo also contains 100% natural almond & shea butter and I love the nature-inspired scent!

After putting hair in a ponytail, I put the ponytail through a hair donut and then a thin rubber band over the bun. Then, I secure the hair down around the donut. I tend to like my buns to be a little messy as a perfect bun isn’t very summery unless you are going to a formal event.

I finish off the style by spraying Suave Green Natural Hold Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray all over and it has uber technology in it!
