Before you know it, summer will be here. I mean, it’s just about Memorial Day weekend, which is the official kick off of the season so get that BBQ started! And I don’t know about you but I like to simplify things as soon as it starts to get hot, like I move the family from one night to two nights of not turning on the stove, laundry is done every Monday eve instead of Saturday afternoon, and the cool basement TV room opens up for the kids and their friends to hang out in.

Also part of this paring down is the streamlining my sensitive skincare routine by incorporating products from the Simple brand I pick up at Walgreens. You’ll find them in the car and in my purse for when I need to freshen-up my face. And I even store a pack in the coffee table drawer to use right before my Sunday eve manicure watching the housewives as they don’t leave any leftover residue on my skin or nails. We know that will just ruin any manicure. The Simple Kind to Skin Facial Wipes also contain aqua-lock, which prevents the wipes from drying out in the pack. Love that!!

My other favorite is the Moisturizing Facial Wash. I’m not a fan of cleansers that leave my skin feeling tight after washing, which seems to happen most in the hot summer months. Is that because I have sensitive skin? I’m not sure but this wash seems to help as it is 100% soap-free and contains Pro-Vitamin B5, vitamin E as well as the skin-loving ingredient Bisabolol. And most importantly, smooth skin, not tight, is the name of my skin’s game after rinsing.
