Collosol Eau de Lait

Collosol-Eau-de-Lait
I don’t know that last time I smelled a really French product. As in one that transports me back. And this COLLOSOL Eau de Lait ($18/3.4oz, $28/8.5oz, $38/13.5oz @ bigelowchemists.com, smallflower.com) does just that. It brings me back to my Aunt’s house just outside of Paris and when I used to visit as a child every year, then, quite frequently as a teen (it was my father’s answer of trying to tame me).

Created in Paris in the 1950s, this milky water cleanser and makeup remover has become a cult favorite of those in the know, and now I’m one of them!

The formula is really light and to remove makeup or dirt, just pour some on a cotton pad and do our biz; no rinsing afterwards and no sticky or oil residue left behind. Some people even pour this in their bath and let the scent waft. You surely won’t have to spritz any fragrance on afterwards.
