How are you taming your hair this season? Each year I pick a go-to style where it’s up off my neck. In the past, I’ve had hair almost down to my waist so I was able to get pretty creative. Now that it’s shoulder length, I feel slightly limited in my styles but I’ve been scouring the Internet lately and found one I love. And just like applying makeup, your hair style has to hold and I’ve been using TRESemmé’s compressed Micro-Mist hairsprays found at CVS and cvs.com. I found the superfine mist really helps keep humidity at bay for hours but my hair is still touchable.

I’ve worn my hair in this easy bun a few times lately out and about and what I like about it besides how easy it is to create, but how versatile it is. I can wear it when I’m casual with jeans and t-shirt but I can (and have) dressed it up and put a flower in my hair.

Here is what you will need: bobbie pins and four elastics

1. Section your hair into two pigtails towards the back of your head.
2. Separate each pigtail into two and twist the two pieces together and then put an elastic at the end of each twist.
3. Give each pigtail twist a spritz of TRESemmé Micro-Mist Level 1 -Texture. This spray will help give the strands some grip for when you put the ponys together, especially if you are doing it on freshly washed hair.
4. When you are ready to wrap each pigtail around each other, remove the elastic from each end bobbie pin it towards the other pony. Don't worry about making it look perfect. These kinds of styles should always look a little disheveled. 
5. Spray all over with TRESemmé Micro-Mist Level 2 – Smooth. This will give your hair invisible flexible hold, with a touchable finish and it dries so fast!
