Do you wear a girdle? Or rather, Spanx? Seems that no matter what kind of shaping garment it is, these days it’s all called Spanx! Well there is a company that’s come out to change that. SHAPEON makes Daily Comfort Wear for all shapes and sizes. The founder sold fine European lingerie and hosiery for over 20 years, so he’s seen it all and have heard it all, so it was only natural for him to come out with his own line.

ShapeOn Shapers are made with 16 comfort and support bands to lift and shape the body and it even contains a gusset (to use the restroom). While I am not a fan of using the gusset, I did find it had other benefits like how comfortable it was to wear and how it did not roll down my stomach! I’ve had that happen with numerous shapewear garments so this is a big plus in my book.

The only real criticism I have is getting it on. As anyone who knows who has worn shapewear, getting one on can be a workout in-and-of-itself! I can count on my fingers how many times I’ve been sweating and had to take a break when putting one on and sadly this one falls into that category.

What did make it a tad easier were the instructions (on their site and also included in the box). What helps to ease it on is to insert the hands in each leg and stretch them out before slipping each leg in. Another tip is when you get it to the top of the thighs, place both hands inside the back part, palms facing out, and pull it up over the butt.  Those really do help in getting this on! Overall, there is no perfect shapewear out there from what I’ve seen. This is a step in the right direction but I think I will save this one for special occasions.
