How confusing is the average skin care aisle? In this case, having choices is not so great. So how do you make a decision on what product/s to try for your skin? TV advertising? Magazines? Blogs? You want to look your best for the selfies and group pics that are inevitable since we all have cameras on our phones these days, right? Taking care of your skin is uber important in 2018!

 

I agree that it's confusing but this might help. It's the Olay Skin Advisor Tool, which analyzes  your skin to see what your "skin's age" is and recommends Olay products for you to use, which are available at Sam's Club nationwide. Simply log onto olayskinadvisor.com, take a selfie, answer a few easy questions and voila.

The Skin Advisor online tool studies your best zones and also what they call, the "focus areas," and recommends the perfect Olay products that you can pick up conveniently at Sam's Club to keep your skincare goals in check.

To start, make sure you are using a laptop or phone where you can snap a pic of yourself for the system to evaluate. After the system analyzes your skin through the selfie you just took, the next few windows will have some questions:

• What concerns you most about your skin?
• Which is your top concern?
• What products do you use at least twice per week?
• After applying a facial moisturizer, how do you like your skin to feel?

Then it does its magic to analyze your skin and then compares it to thousands of other women your age group to come up with your skin's age. I came up at 34, which is great since I'm in my 40s!

On the results page, you can take a closer look at each area of your face, from the best zone to the focus area/s. My best seems to be the forehead and the focus area, or area that could use improvement, is my mouth.

To the right of the picture are the Skin Advisor's recommendations from the Olay brand. The top one they had in the list was the Ultimate Eye Cream, which I have been using, as well as the Olay Total Effects Moisturizer. And for a cleanser, it said the best one for me was the Olay Regenerist Cream Cleanser, which I have used and have in my bathroom. All of these are available at your local Sam's Club.
