H2O+ Sea Salt Mousse to Oil Body Moisturizer
I love when I come across a product that does it differently like this H2O+ Sea Salt Mousse to Oil Body Moisturizer ($18/5oz @ h2oplus.com, qvc.com). It’s a body moisturizer that comes in a can and dispenses a foam that turns into an oil. Did you follow all that?
As with all body products, I usually look at the first 10 or so ingredients. For this one, the list is:
The first is water, next is glycerin (humectant), Hydrofluorocarbon 152a (a pressurized gas), Isodecyl Neopentanoate (a skin conditioning agent), Butane, then meadowfoam seed oil, Undecane (another emollient), Ceteareth-60 Myristyl Glycol (a surfactant), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier), and then two good ones, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and so on. As I’m sure you’re aware, the way an ingredient list works is that the order is from most in the product to least.
So while this one doesn’t have the best quality of ingredients out of the quantity in it until about the 10th ingredient, I don’t see anything bad in it and I’m really loving the scent (if you don’t mind some synthetic fragrance. I can’t say the scent is all manufactured as some of the other ingredients could add to it), as well as the way it foams out of the can like shaving cream.
Overall, this formula is light and airy and completely melts into the skin and is a nice way to apply moisture instead of the same ol’, same ol’.

This sounds so good! I'm looking into it to see if it's CF. I love the first shot - the background and trunk are so pretty and great depth of field!

Hi Jen! I don't think the brand is cruelty-free but hopefully I am wrong. Glad you like the pic!
