Well, I’m at it again and really, this time, I think I’ve found the one! It’s EPICERAM-L Lip Care ($44.95/3 pack @ skincaremarketplace.net). $15 for a lip treatment is not cheap but when something works, isn’t it worth it? I put my pucker through a lot trying and testing out a lot of liquid lipsticks so at the end of the day, I really need to give them some TLC.

From what I’ve read about this is because lips don’t produce any oils like the rest of our skin, they are not protected from UV exposure so they tend to dry out easily. And in this case, ingredients really matter. See alcohol, menthol, camphor and any other products will not actually help lips but dry them out further, hence the feeling that you become addicted to lip balms.

So how is this EpiCeram-L Lip Care different? They came 3 different lipids (ceramides, free fatty acids and cholesterol) that use a microencapsulated dispersion technology aka time-release delivery system, to get lips back into shape.
