These BUXOM Metalix Lip Glide ($22 @ buxomcosmetics.com, macys.com) seem to be one of those all-or-none lippies in that they look really good when just applied and not so good when they’re wearing off.

What it is: A limited-edition metallic-fused lip color collection. Provides mind-melting shimmer and cosmic shine that saturates lips for a rich lustrous look in just one swipe.

My Take: I think the above sums it up nicely. These are regular lipsticks and last about 4 hours on lips before it is faded. At about hour 2 is when I feel I need to apply another coat but if I wait about 1 hour more, I have just a light glaze of color and the shimmer really comes through. Between hours 3 and 4 is when I either have to apply another coat or take it off completely. Color pick is the Ruby Luster.
