Check Out the Latest in Brows
Brow products are getting better and better these days. What seemed to have started as just using a brown pencil to make brows has evolved into a whole beauty category. And what’s also great about these developments is the number of choices out there for us consumers – gel pens, creams, markers, pencils.
So I’ve come across a few in the past month that I thought would be great to showcase together since each is pretty different from the other.

PIXI BEAUTY Endless Gel Brow Pen ($11 @ pixibeauty.com, asos.com) – this is one of those long-wearing gels in a pencil form. Available in Deep, Medium and Light, the waterproof formula glides on nicely to fill in sparse areas in the brow. The only thing with a pencil is you’ve got to find a good sharpener to keep that tip super pointed. Maybe that’s just my thing because I just hate a dull pencil tip.
TOUCHBACK BrowMarker ($19.95 @ colormetrics.com) – there are a couple of these marker-type products for brows like this one and I’m a fan. Available in Soft Black, Dark Brown, Medium Brown, Auburn and Taupe/Blonde, the formula of this one bonds to both skin and hair to create a natural-looking brow. This one is meant to be applied with a super light touch for the most natural looking brows.
CHELLA Eyebrow Cream ($26 @ chella.com) – as the most uniquely packaged one in the bunch, this has an angled brush on one side and the color screwed into the bottom in its own compartment. Available in Beautiful Blonde, Luscious Light Brown, Tantalizing Taupe, Awesome Auburn, Dazzling Dark Brown, Elegant Ebony, this is a creamy formula that stays put for a lot of hours.
WUNDERBROW Brow Gel ($22 @ wunderbrow.com, hsn.com) – this one had the most buzz of all of these on the list as they claim it will last up to 3 days! Available in Blonde, Auburn, Brunette, Black/Brown, Jet Black, this formula contains an exclusive blend of hair-like fibers, combined with specially treated pigments designed to fasten onto skin and hair. It comes with a spooly brush to help comb the color through the brow hairs, however, I found I needed to use a small angled brush to apply the color to the brow area. I know they don’t want you to apply it as straight from the wand as it’s not small enough. So does this one work? Yes! And I think it’s my favorite one out of all four of these as it lasted the longest and looked the best.
