Your Answer to Long-Wearing Eye Color

I recently decided to count my eye liners. I know, I know, I don’t know why either as I’m not really into counting my makeup! Not sure if I should be embarrassed or happy but adding up all my liners including shadow sticks, liquid liners, and lip liners, I have 168. In this day-and-age of makeup collecting, which  seems to be a thing now, I’m not sure if that is even considered a lot! What do you think?
Anyway, 3 I will be adding to my collection are these from NUDESTIX. I think these Magnetic Eye Colors ($24 @ sephora.com, qvc.com) came out last year or at least some of the colors did but I’m glad I came across them.

What it is: A 3-in-1 eye shadow, eye liner and eye primer that’s super long-wearing, waterproof, eye shadow pencil that provides intense color in satin and matte finishes, precise lining, and primes lids for all-day wear.

The colors I tried were the Copper Foil, which has a satin finish, and 2 of the matte ones in Army and Slate. Since these do triple-duty, there was no need to apply an eye shadow primer before applying but I did on one eye just to see how it affected the performance. I have to saw it did affect it in a not-so-good way. The eye without the primer actually wore better and did not crease until about 6 hours into wearing both the Army and Slate shades.

Since the Copper Foil one is a shimmery shade, I didn’t have much hope that it would last as long as the others because of past experience with these type of finishes. But I do have to say it lasted on my lids almost as long before it started to fade. Still didn't crease though!

Overall, I really like these. One + is that once they set into place after about 1 minute and don’t move at all, which I’m sure is part of the reason they lasted so long on my lids.

From L to R: Army (dark gray/green), Copper Foil (shimmery orange), Slate (milk chocolate)

And of course each of these comes in the super cool tin with the mirror in the inside top and a pencil sharpener.
