BAREMINERALS just came out with a huge collection of lippies called GEN NUDE. It’s comprised of lipsticks, lipgloss, liquid lipcolors and lip liners. 60 shade offerings in all!

Nude lippies are a funny thing. It would seem that since its nude, it would go with all skin tones but that’s not the case. I recently threw out an expensive nude liquid lipstick after determining that it was too pink for me.

GEN NUDE Radiant Lipstick ($20 @ bareminerals.com, ulta.com, dermstore.com) – All three shades shown here: Sexpot (soft warm beige), Tutu (delicate mauve) and Crush (neutral pink nude) were all very wearable shades for me. The pigmentation is probably between a tinted balm and a lipstick, so not too much commitment with them. And they call these a demi-shine finish. Available in 20 shades.

GEN NUDE Buttercream Lipgloss ($18 @ bareminerals.com, macys.com, dermstore.com) – I can’t believe I am saying this but this gloss is comfortable on my lips! And I’ve pretty much grown to dislike lip glosses because of how they feel when I wear them but these are not in that category. No sticky or tackiness, more like an overly moisturizing balm. Shown here: Flirt (deep mauve), Popular (soft peach), Snarky (rosy pink with gold pearl). Available in 15 shades.

GEN NUDE Matte Liquid Lipcolor ($18 @ bareminerals.com, ulta.com, nordstrom.com) – I had super high hopes for these after trying these others from their Buxom brand put out a few months ago but sadly I’m just not a fan of the “no-dry-down” type of liquid lipsticks. If you are, these might be some good ones for you to try out. From Shown here: Frenemy (cool pink), Wink (perfect pink nude), Weekend (honeyed pink peach). Available in 19 shades.

GEN NUDE Under Over Lip Liner ($16 @ bareminerals.com, ulta.com, dermstore.com) – What can I say about these liners? They rock and come in a few shade options. I’ve been known to line by whole mouth and top with a little gloss for all day wear. Shown here: Freestyle (warm beige nude). Available in 5 shades.
