Color correcting makeup is all the rage right now and there have been quite a few brands that have splashed products on the scene. Here are a few I’m digging right now.

This is the ALGENIST’s first foray into the makeup world and they latched onto a pretty hot trend right now! Not only do each of these two products contain their AlgaCorrecting Complex to fight aging, but it uses the naturally-occurring red, blue, green and golden algae that exists in the complex to do the correcting.

ALGENIST REVEAL 6-in-1 Color Correcting Concealer ($28) – yup, this does 6 things: primes, brightens, treats, color corrects, provides high coverage and helps fight aging. This one camouflaged some pretty nice dark circles I was sporting one morning.

PHYSICIANS FORMULA Super CC Color-Correction + Care All-Over Blur Primer Stick SPF 30 ($12.95/13.5 grams) and All-Over Blur CC Cream ($14.95/1oz) -  these two do quite a bit including priming the skin, color-correcting, and keeping it protected from the sunrays with a SPF 30. You just have to decide if you like your color-correcting in the form of a stick or a cream! Available in Light and Light/Medium. Both @ physiciansformula.com.  

NYX COSMETICS Color Correcting Liquid Primer in Blue ($14/1.05oz @ nyxcosmetics.com) – this face primer infused with chamomile, green tea and ginseng root and this blue with soft pearl works best to help correct dark spots and hyperpigmentation. This is available is 4 other shades – Pink, Orange, Yellow and Green.
