Talking Spring with Tarte Cosmetics

The lipstick liquid trend is still going, and the newest addition to this trend is Tarte's Tarteist Lip Paints. Check out this full review and swatches with Cybele Says.

Spring with Tarte Cosmetics

The new Tarteist Lip Paints ($20 @ ulta.comdermstore.com) are TARTE’s answer to the current liquid lipstick trend. 10 shades wear the name and are part of the Spring 2016 Collection coming out in January. I know, Spring-talk already!!

Each mint smelling formula is not like your average liquid lipstick in that these don’t have that serious dry down. They are more like these. Yes, the super matte ones last on lips for hours but can be drying after a few. These don’t dry lips out and don’t have that long-ass commitment either, not that I dislike the super mattes; there’s certainly a time and place for both formulas on this earth.

Also coming out to complement each Lip Paint shade are Tarteist Lip Crayon ($18). The formula is a little on the soft side it seems. I broke the tip off two swatching them on my arm. If this was a more matte formula, I would say you don’t even really need a lip liner but since these are a little on the more moisturizing side, lining will help keep the color out of your lip lines.

Latergram (mauve), Squad (burgundy), Thirsty (red), Boho (nude), On Fleek (lavender), Turnt Up (fuschia), Magic Wand (pink), Amaze (pinky coral), Totes (hot pink), Mood Ring (berry).

These are so pretty. I may pick one up, see if my lips can live with them. Great review.
