Do you line your waterline? I have been known to line them during the day but seem to mainly do it at night so like a face primer, it has become part of my the “going out” routine. I’ve tried out quite a few in the past few years and lot of them just don’t last in that inner rim of the eye. I mean, it’s quite a challenge for a company to create a product that will last since the waterline is not exactly a dry area.

The latest product to come out made especially for this area is URBAN DECAY 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil ($20 @ urbandecay.com, ulta.com and sephora.com). The five available shades are a demi-matte and safe to wear on the inner rims of your eye. Pretty straight forward, right?

 

So the bottom line here is, do these work? Yes. Do they last for more than say, 6 hours? Yes.

The skinny: while it took a few passes for the color to leave its mark on my top bottom waterline, once it applied, it stayed put for a holiday party and a day at the office.
