For the collection, François Nars was inspired by the eyes. “It just seemed like the collection needed to revolve around eyes and especially how eye color and texture can convey not just character and mood but a period in time, be it an era or a decade or even a season.” 

And texture and depth is exactly what the Dual Intensity Eyeshadow in Pasiphae (shimmering peacock burgundy) conveys! It’s a really nice shade and the formula blends on the skin beautifully. $29.

Because the tip is rounded with these Velvet Shadow Sticks , it’s a little hard to get a thorough application on the lid because of the corners, so a brush is recommended and also know that the color intensifies the more layers you apply. So use these as a liner or you can smudge it out for an evening smokey eye look.
