Could This Be My Next Holy Grail Beauty Product??

A few months ago a makeup artist friend of mine asked if I knew where she could pick up one of the Shu Uemura (makeup) Remover Pencils. They don’t make it anymore and mine has about 2” of life left to it. I’m not sure why more brands don’t make a pen like it but I haven’t seen any.

Then recently while browsing around the Target beauty section I came across the ELF Makeup Remover Pen from the e.l.f. Studio line. Ok, I’ll try it.

What I noticed when I used it is that the formula is totally non-greasy (something the Shu pen was) and not only did it remove fall out from eye shadow but it also removed waterproof eyeliner lickety-split! Amazing. And the cap inside has a special dome to help keep the tip moist as you can see in the below photo.

The only downside is that if you use it to clean up a dark color, you need to wipe the color off the tip on a napkin or something or you will just apply it to another part of the face. A small price to pay for such a great stick remover though. $3 @ ulta.comtarget.com, walgreens.com or Target stores.
