Be Cool Honey Bunny with Urban Decay
Do you have a favorite scene in the Pulp Fiction movie? I think everyone does! I mean who can forget the dance, Urge Overkill’s awesome rendition of, “Girl You’ll Be A Woman Soon,” the shot of adrenaline … and that’s just the standouts in the first hour of the movie!
URBAN DECAY just put out the Pulp Fiction Collection of 5 products that was inspired by Ms. Uma’s character of Mia Wallace. Of course my big question since I first heard about this collection last month was, why now? And then I saw that the movie came out exactly 20 years ago this year but imdb.com sets the date as September 23rd, so even though it’s a tad early, it still counts!
First up, the Pulp Fiction Palette ($34) – Righteous (light cream matte), Tyranny (warm brown matte), Vengeance (deep taupe-brown, matte satin), Furious (white satin), Anger (black satin). All of these shades are great basics and I really like the blood-red double-ended brush it comes with. Be sure to use the enclosed tutorial to get Mia’s eye look with this.
I just love red nail polishes so the Pulp Fiction Nail Polish ($15), a deep red w/a slight shimmer, is right up my alley. Very holiday looking on nails.
If you’ve been reading for a while then you know that this next product they included in the Pulp Fiction collection is a big favorite. This Revolution Lipstick ($22) in Pulp Fiction, a deep blood red, comes in a limited-edition, oh-so-cool, jet-black case, and has the same nourishing oils and their Pigment Infusion System because Mia wouldn’t look any good with dried out lips, right? And you don’t want your lipstick to stray to couple it with the 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil ($20) in Mrs. Mia Wallace, also a deep blood red.
Lastly is a little sparkle that Mia totally had and you can get yours in part with the Pulp Fiction Heavy Metal Glitter Eye Liner ($19), black w/black and silver sparkle. I don’t believe this is new for this collection but it’s a nice addition.
