Review+Swatches - MAC Moody Blooms Collection
It’s been a bit since I wrote about any MAC products so here is a nice colorful collection, the Moody Blooms Collection.
What It Is: Exotic, night-blooming flowers with a hint of danger inspire a hothouse of seductive shades. Sensual colours shroud eyes in earthy metallic. Eye Shadows and lips suggest hidden motives with deep blue plum and dark berry hues of Sheen Supreme Lipstick. Bronze Powder Blush provides a final adrenaline surge before these beauties dissolve into the night.

Eye Shadow in Deep Fixation (metallic brown, veluxe pearl finish), Lucky Green (frosted midtone lime, veluxe pearl finish), $14. I’m in love with these two shadow colors! Both are very wearable and the green is a nice addition to blend in with a dark blue to give it some pop. I just wished I could have captured its essence better in the above picture.
Fluidline in Black Ivy (blackened green plum), $16. These. gel. liners. don’t. move! And this color is a nice option when you don’t feel like wearing black.
Powder Blush in Bred for Beauty (matte midtone blue pink), $21. This is a nice middle-of-the-road pink, which I only sometime wear but good to have your collection for just in case.
Sheen Supreme Lipstick in Lust Extract (electric violet), $17. Really like this color! And it seems to be kind of jelly-like than the typical lipstick formula, which is nice.
Sheen Supreme Lipglass Tint in Blushing Berry (midtonal cool red), Simply Wow (midtonal cool mauve), Bubble Gum (soft warm pink), $20. I saved the best for last! I really didn’t think I was going to like these glosses but I really do. Easy to wear with no sticky or suffocation feeling and Blushing Berry and Simply Wow were both nice shades, while the Bubble Gum was just eh.
Will you be picking up anything from this collection?
