MAYBELLINE is just coming out with a new shadow collection, and it’s a mouthful, the Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24HR Cream-Gel Shadow Leathers Collection.

What I find funny is that I don’t think the brand thought of us collectors of beauty products or if someone should buy more than one shadow as the color of the shade is only listed on the top cap and not on the bottom! When I shot these photos I had to make sure I kept each cap near its bottom so I wouldn’t get confused! 

These creams are super pigmented and while I had high hopes when it came to the performance, most just creased on my lids, and I don’t even have oily eyelids. I tried each with and without a shadow primer and the only one that didn’t crease, lasted and just looked really nice was the most non-leather looking one of the bunch, #95 Chocolate Suede! The color looks like a chocolate bronze shade with specs of gold inside and it really danced beautifully next to my dark brown eyes and 10 hours later, it still looked like I had just applied it. Big recommendation!
