NARS COSMETICS' Summer 2014 ‘Adult Swim’ Color Collection is just hitting shelves and I got my hands on two of the items from it to show to you. 

The Lip Gloss in Priscilla is described as shocking pink and is right up my alley of loving all things bright this season. I know I’ve mentioned it here before that I’m more of a lipstick girl than a lip gloss since I really feel when a lip gloss is on my lips. Do you know what I mean? I just don’t like that feeling but isn’t this bright pink so awesome? And because the color was so great, I applied a few swipes and then let it be. It was a little bit of torcher at first but then I got used to it and got about 2 hours wear. Also note that this color is part of the reformulation of all the lip glosses that just launched on tax day.

I was initially a little afraid of the Shimmer Eyeshadow in Malacca as sometimes when something looks this good in the packaging, it just doesn’t perform well but it totally surprised me. What also surprised me was the shade this actually turned out to be on my skin. It’s described as an iridescent peacock … in the packaging, it is. But on the skin, I’d say it’s more of browny/mauve mixed with green and a dash of shimmer. It’s really nice and can be built up for more intense color.
