Review+Swatches - Chanel Notes de Printemps Lippies

In continuing to look at CHANEL’s most recent makeup collection, Collection Notes de Printemps, we come to the lips and the glosses and lipsticks in it. I seem to have a lot of posts about lippies these days! Not sure why I am heavy in that category but I guess that’s my thing these days. So onward …

Show here are the two Glossimers ($29.50). The Sonate, a dark pink and Murmure, a soft pink. Neither have shimmer, which I actually like in my Glossimers.

Overall, I if I had to pick one of these, I’d pick the Sonate as it had more color payoff than the Murmure. I also think the YLBB of Sonate would look really nice with a bold eye.

So moving on the lipsticks …

These two totally fared better for me as I am just all about the bold lippies these days!

Rouge Allure Velvet in La Diva ($34), an electric pink, is just so fun and is all about being girly, if pink is your shtick.

Rouge Allure in Melodieuse ($34), a bright coral red, is a season winner. Coral is again so hot for spring that you could just do a really simply makeup look, apply this and you’re ready.

All @ chanel.com.

Are any of these on your pick-up-this-season list?

Disclosure: Samples of these items were provided for review purposes.
