Dove Introduces the PitiCure
The DOVE brand recently brought up an interesting topic – the care of the armpit as in, when you exfoliate your body like arms and legs, do you also exfoliate under your arms? A study was published recently that 36% of what you remove when shaving is actually skin and only 64% is hair. So what they recommend is giving the area a PitiCure (yes, they’ve trademarked this term. Hello dictionary dot com?).
- Step 1 – Exfoliate
- Step 2 – Rinse
- Step 3 – Apply their Advanced Care Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant with NutriumMoisture (way to slide it in there Dove!!)
The PitiCure makes total sense though, doesn’t it? I’ve been known to exfoliate under my arms but not every time, so maybe with this new info in mind, I will do it more often.
More about this deodorant/anti-perspirant. Now I can sometimes be sensitive under the arms after shaving perhaps due to dryness, so I applied this sparingly, just in case but there was no irritation. Yeah!! Maybe because of this NutriumMoisture ingredient, which is comprised of ingredients to keep skin moisturized like humectants, sunflower seed oil and stearic acid among others.
This one claims 48-hour but I had to apply it every day, which is fine, as I think my underarms are a little on the strong side. So when I did apply it daily, it did keep the moisture and stick at bay.
Choose from 8 different scents like the cucumber and green tea of Cool Essentials shown here for $4.99 to $6.49 @ amazon.com.
What do you think of the PitiCure?
