OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE COSMETICS is one of those indy brands that is quickly gaining ground in the world of makeup. Their Lip Tars are obtained cult status and they just came out with some new ones at The Makeup Show I attended a few weeks ago. And while people go nutty, are their funky colors for you?

Would you wear green lip color? Most wouldn’t, including myself but I did find the minty green of Power Plant great for the eyes! And know that a little goes a long way and it’s not sticky at all, which you might think it would be since it is meant for the lips. But like all OCC items, they can be used on eyes or lips.

The next new release is Pretty Boy, a super-rich fuschia (they spell it fuschia, not me!). If you love your pinks bright, this is one for you. But like all Lip Tars, make sure to use a lip primer so it doesn’t bleed into fine lines around the lip area, which always happens with me. $18 each @ occmakeup.com.
