Review+Swatches - IT Cosmetics No-Tug Eyeliners

To say that I am pretty much in love with the IT COSMETICS line right now is an understatement. Each product I have tried has a reason to be there and is outstanding in its category. Nothing worse than a product that is put out just for the sake of it, which is pretty common in makeup lines.

The latest I tried is their No-Tug Silk Anti-Aging Waterproof Eyeliner and as the name states, this one contains some anti-aging ingredients like Collagen, Hydrolyzed Silk and Anti-oxidants though I’m not sure these cover enough skin to really make a difference and I think it’s more of a schtick, but I digress.

Let’s look at the basics of these – do they apply nicely, last and how’s the pigmentation?

These No-Tug Silk Anti-Aging Waterproof Eyeliners come in 6 shades – Black, (matte black), Brown (matte rich brown), Plum (matte rich plum), Golden Bronze (satin copper) and the latest colors they just came out with that I’m swatching here, Graphite (matte charcoal gray) and Navy (deep matte blue). And I see on QVC that the colors are sold as sets, so let's look at the deets on the Graphite and Navy!

The formula  itself gets some pretty high marks when it comes to liner quality because it goes on  smoothly with no tugging or stuttering. Because it’s waterproof, I tried it on the waterline but didn’t get much action there, so I’d stick with the dry parts of the eye with these.

Not only did I get about 6 hours wear with these but when they did start to fade, the color faded evenly, which doesn’t always happen with liners but then again, I have high expectations with this line, if you haven’t already figure that out yet.

And each comes with its own pencil sharpener in the box and it’s not a cheap-o one pencils sometimes come with. Two thumbs up from me! $24 for the duo @
