A lot of buzz around the Opaque Rouge ($28 @ sephora.com) from HOURGLASS COSMETICS – a liquid lipstick, super matte finish and long wearing. So how did it work for me? Click after the pic!

Just about every lippie says non-drying but I have to say, the formula is surprisingly really non-drying or flaking and I got a solid 5 hours of wear out of the most pigmented Icon shade I tried out. The color really seems to hug the lips and that might be from the special blend of polymers inside. When I wore the Icon, I used Too Faced Lip Insurance since sometimes super pigmented liquid lippies will bleed a little since I have lines around my top lip. As I expected, there was no bleeding to be had and the color really stayed put around every part of my lip and wore off evenly like I said before, after about 5 hours.

And it also has some skin-conditioning emollients like goji berry, vitamins A, C and E, which helps with the non-drying factor, obviously.
