Review+Swatches - Make Up For Ever La Boheme Aqua Eyes

I’m really into MAKE UP FOR EVER’s Aqua Eyes pencils. They’re waterproof and more importantly, fade proof. There is nothing worse than applying your liner, leaving for a night on the town, using the restroom as said location and half of it has done a disappearing act.

The brand recently came out with the La Boheme line and of course had to include an Aqua Eyes it. The shade is called Gypsy and is a matte dark brown that is so universal. $18 @ sephora.com.

At-Home Gel Polish with Red Carpet Manicure

One trend that I think is here to stay for the long haul is the light cured nail polish. I tried it in the salon like everyone else back in the summer of 2010 and we have now reached a new pinnacle, the at-home kit. Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce RED CARPET MANICURE.

Goody Fountain Flip

What girl doesn’t love hair accessories? The latest is from one of the godfathers, GOODY, and it’s called Fountain Flip and it’s from the Simply Styles Collection. It launches in March and they say it is reminiscent of Nicole Richie’s hair seen here of a French twist with the ends of the hair sticking up. I admit, I didn’t quite get how to do it when I first read the directions but now it’s easy.

Schick Hydro Silk Razor for Women

Schick-Hydro-Silk-razor-for-WomenLike toothbrushes I’m always interested in the latest technology in razors, and this one was 7 years in the making. The latest to fall into my hands is SCHICK’s Hydro Silk razor. What this one touts that’s new is a hydrating water-activated moisturizing serum strip around the blades and 5 curve-sensing blades with unique skin guards. Since I’ve been shaving for so long, I can do it with my eyes closed and how I know I’m hitting the right place is that I sort of feel the blades running across my skin. With this one, I don’t feel the blades at all but it gave me a super close shave, so much so, that my underarms got irritated as I applied deodorant like I usually do right after the shower.

With regard to the serum, they say it will last for about 11 shaves and the starter pack contains the razor, 2 cartridges and a shower hanger. $11.99 @ walgreens.comtarget.comamazon.com.
